Message from Your Transit Police Florida Reunion 2.0 Chairman

On behalf of the Reunion Committee, we would like to thank all those that attended the 25th Anniversary Event, best we can tell everyone had a fantastic evening, we are thankful for your support in making this event a resounding success.  I’d also like to single out and recognize Lou Hollander and Bill McKechnie for their tireless efforts over the years in caring for this event, as well as the countless others who have participated in numerous committees over the years.  

These days, it seems every time we open a newspaper there is another part of history being erased…. All Americans, in every walk of life need to remember we are standing on the shoulders of giants.  The memory and recognition of those who have laid down their lives in the service of others are one of the most important parts of history that should never be forgotten; when a man is remembered, he is never forgotten. Consequently, this committee is dedicated to, and makes a solum vow  to recall our fallen Transit brethren each year and raise a glass in their honor.  

The committee is already planning towards continuing that tradition in 2024… check the website frequently for updated info.  Also, take a moment to fill out a survey form and submit any photos you'd like posted on our reunion page. www.transitpolicereunion.com
